About the Role
• Mastery of software development design and architecture best practices for a distributed system
• Strong experience working with AWS Technologies (Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, VPCs, Fargate, SQS)
• Experience working with SQL (ideally Postgres); the ability to write efficient queries and understand the supporting datastore
• Experience with monitoring and alerting
• Possible experience with performance debugging and benchmarking
• Possible experience implementing and maintaining a development pipeline
• Strong attention to design detail (UI/UX)
• Strong communication skills in the sense of understanding which medium to utilize for communication & when as a member of a distributed engineering team
• Strong documentation skills, especially the ability to utilize diagrams
